Hi, I’m Carlene

I help individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, and major life transitions in a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely human.

My Path to Counseling

A professional background shaped by leadership, listening, and helping people move through change.

My path to counseling began after more than 20 years in corporate leadership, where I managed teams across multiple countries and helped people navigate challenges, growth, and change. Over time, I became more drawn to the deeper human side of those conversations: listening to people’s stories, understanding what shaped them, and helping them recognize strengths they often did not see in themselves.

Today, I work with individuals, couples, and families throughout Colorado. My approach combines evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, CBT, IFS, mindfulness practices, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, with a warm, authentic, and collaborative style. I believe therapy should feel less like being analyzed and more like having a trusted guide walking alongside you through life’s challenges.

Education & Credentials

Carlene’s background combines clinical mental health training, trauma-focused therapy, couples counseling, and child-centered mediation support.
